In 10 years, I will be…
I hope I will be working toward a doctoral degree in psychology — but
at the very least will have accomplished a master's degree and be working in
the
high school as a school psychologist or at the college level as a professor.
What's
the coolest thing you've done since you began attending Dana?
I don't spend a whole lot of time, outside class, on campus, since I am a
non-traditional student. I have loved going to the little picnics and carnivals
outside on the
lawn/grounds that some of the organizations have put on, and my 4-year-old
loves them too!
Why did you choose Dana?
The campus is very nice. The student body is smaller, which
helps each student get more personal attention. The entire
school, faculty and administration
are very nice and accomodating.
What will you remember most about your time
at Dana?
How nice everyone is, including the student body. The
level of education is wonderful. I just can't say enough
nice things about my professors.
What do you and your
friends enjoy doing?
Well, my husband is my best friend (and an assistant wrestling
coach), so I enjoy watching wrestling duals. We both like
to invite other coaches
and
my
classmates
over for a game/movie night as often as possible, too!
What college class
has been the most fun for you and why?
Virtually any of the history calsses, but I really enjoy(ed)
Comparative Government and America in the 1960s, because
they were smaller, more
discussion-based classes.
What's the best thing about being a student
at Dana?
The fact that my instructors know who I am and a lot about
me since the classes are smaller. The instructors are available
if a student
needs
personal attention. |
