In 10 years, I will be…

I hope to be a successful social studies teacher and eventually get a master's degree in education administration. I would also like to start a family.

What's the coolest thing you've done since you began attending Dana?
I think the most fun thing about being a student at Dana is the residence life atmosphere. It feels great to have a close network of friends and teammates living so closely together. It is so easy to meet new friends.

Why did you choose Dana?
I felt at Dana I could really benefit from the smaller classes and the one-on-one contact you get with instructors. Also, Dana provided a chance to continue my athletic career, something I might not have necessarily been able to do at a large university.

What will you remember most about your time at Dana?
I will remember the late-night runs to Omaha with my roommate and spending time with friends on campus. Being only a sophomore, I feel there are many more memorable moments to be had.

What's the best thing about living on campus?
Being social with friends provides a good outlet from academic life. Everyone gets to know you, and it's easy to form close friendships.

What do you and your friends enjoy doing?
My friends and I enjoy an occasional video game or two, and watching movies. Also with DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge being so close, my other hobby can be fulfilled by going fishing after class and practice.

What college class has been the most fun for you and why?
My favorite classes have been both World Civilizations classes. I am very interested in world history, and these classes proved to be interesting and insightful.
