Why did you choose to come to Dana?

I liked the small class sizes and the excellent education standards they have. I also came to play soccer, but mainly because they had what I wanted to study in the kind of environment I wanted to study in.

What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?
I hope I will have a sucessful career and a family of my own. I hope to be working for the FBI in 10 years, and to have two children with my husband.

What has been your favorite class?
The Social Work practice classes have been my favorite because I think the role-playing we do is really fun and it really helps you to see what it will be like in a real job.

What kinds of "real world" training have you done because of Dana?
I did an internship in Fremont at Health and Human Services last summer with a juvenile services officer. He was really great. I learned so much about the HHS system and the juvenile court systems in Nebraska. I was also able to talk with clients and get some experience with that, so I feel it is going to be very helpful in getting a career.

What's the best, coolest or most fun thing you've done since coming to Dana?
The coolest thing I've done since coming to Dana was going on the First Nations in Nebraska and South Dakota Discovery Term trip. We went and spent time on some Native American reservations in the area. Not only did I learn a lot about the Native American culture and their struggles, the trip also taught me a lot about myself. I also made some great friends on the trip, which is very rewarding.

What's the best thing about being a student at Dana?
The great professors that take time to give you personal attention. The great people you meet on campus. The fun activities Dana has. The recognition you get from others when you can be really far away from Dana and if you are wearing Dana apparel you always run into someone who knows where it is and how great it is. The networking that Dana helps you build is also a big plus.

What will you remember most about your time at Dana?
All the great knowledge I have learned and the friends I have made. I will also remember all the fun activities I participated in like Student Awareness Organization's Relationship Game and SAO's Talent Show. The friends I have made here at Dana will be friends for life, so I will remember them the most, because they won't let me forget them.

What do you and your friends enjoy doing?
We like watching movies, talking, just hanging out, going to the occassional party. We just like to have fun! We also like to play Karaoke Revolution.
