Coach Chris Fear challenges all of
his players to improve themselves by working over the off season and
summer. Coach decided to up the aunty this season. The goal was to
shoot 21,000 shots from the first day of summer vacation to the day
before the first practice in the fall. Nine members of this year’s
squad were successful on their quest to shoot the required number of
shots.

The Vikings opened fall practice Oct.
1 and will play their first regular season game at home on Oct. 31
against Peru State College at 7:30 p.m.
