Applied Music (distributed as listed below) 10 credits

  • Freshman: 1 in Fall and Spring
  • Sophomore: 1 in Fall and 2 in Spring
  • Junior: 2 in Fall and 2 in Spring
  • Senior: none in Fall (professional semester) and 1 in Spring

Instrumental Ensemble requirements 0-4 credits
Instrumental endorsement music education majors are required to be in the major instrumental ensemble a minimum of eight semesters.

The keyboard proficiency examination must be passed by the end of the 5th semester of study.

Students are required to present a 30 minute recital in their Junior year.
