DANA VOICES TO PERFORM AT NEBRASKA BACH FESTIVAL, MARCH 2
Group from Dana College will
perform with other Lutheran choirs
Dana Voices, Dana College’s largest vocal ensemble,
will perform at the third-annual Nebraska Bach Festival March 2.
The festival will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church
(13271 Millard Ave., Omaha, Neb.) at 7 p.m. Besides Dana Voices,
the festival also features performances by the St. Michael Lutheran
Church of Omaha Choir, Trinity Lutheran Church of Omaha Choir and
St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Millard Choir.
Dana Voices is a group of 50 performers who explore
American music of all types as well as the music of other cultures.
Dana College is a private, liberal arts institution
that currently enrolls approximately 600 students. The campus is
located on 150 acres overlooking the Missouri River Valley in Blair,
Neb. Dana grants bachelor’s degrees in more than 20 liberal
arts, business, education and pre-professional programs, with an
emphasis on personalized teaching from experience and dedicated faculty.
Dana is affiliated with the Nebraska Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America, and its athletic teams compete in the Great Plains
Athletic Conference.
