DANA COLLEGE CHORALE TO PERFORM AT ST. CECILIA'S IN OMAHA, APRIL

Concert in Mother Church for
Archdiocese of Omaha
part of Cathedral Arts Project
The Dana College Chorale, one of the region’s
most esteemed vocal groups, will give their annual concert in St.
Cecilia Cathedral in Omaha at 2 p.m. on April 27. The concert is
free and open to the public.
The concert is part of the Cathedral Arts Project,
a key endeavor in Omaha for promoting the arts. It is also a preparation
concert for the Dana College Chorale, who will be on tour in Northern
Europe this summer. Selections performed will cover a variety of
vocal genres.
The Dana College Chorale is well known throughout the
area as a quality singing group. Members audition for a limited number
of spots. The Chorale tours every other year, this summer traveling
to Denmark and Germany. The Chorale's latest CD, "Ancient Made
New," ($15) can be ordered from Dr.

Dana College is a private, liberal arts institution
that currently enrolls approximately 600 students. The campus is
located on 150 acres overlooking the Missouri River Valley in Blair,
Neb. Dana grants bachelor’s degrees in more than 20 liberal
arts, business, education and pre-professional programs, with an
emphasis on personalized teaching from experienced and dedicated
faculty. Dana is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America, and its athletic teams compete in the Great Plains Athletic
Conference.
