DANA COLLEGE CHORALE TO TAKE 17-DAY CONCERT TOUR OF DENMARK, GERMANY
"All-American Tour" goes
to largest
U.S. Independence Day outside of United States
The Dana College Chorale, one of the region’s
most esteemed vocal groups, will be taking a 17-day concert tour
of Northern Europe from June 22 to July 8.
Dubbed the “All-American Tour,” the Chorale
will be performing Americana-tinged selections in the group’s
well-known a cappella style. The climax of the tour will come July
4 at the largest U.S. Independence Day celebration outside of the
United States. The festival, held in the Rebild Hills of Denmark,
typically has attendance in the tens of thousands.
The Chorale will also give performances in Bad Segeberg
and Oeversee, Germany, and Ribe, Vejle, Legoland, Odense and Copenhagen,
Denmark.
The Dana College Chorale is well known throughout the
area as a quality singing group. Members audition for a limited number
of spots. The Chorale tours every four years. The Chorale's latest
