DANA PROFESSOR TO PERFORM AS PART OF 50 STATES PREMIERE PROJECT
Prof. Michael Anderson will
be
representative performer from Nebraska
Dana College’s Professor Michael Anderson will
perform Robert Bradshaw’s Sonata for Trumpet at 3 p.m., Nov.
5, as part of a unique premiere effort for the piece. The performance
will be in Trinity Chapel and is free and open to the public.
The performance is part of Bradshaw’s 50 States
Premiere Project, which aims to get Bradshaw’s new piece performed
in all 50 U.S. states and as many other place as possible during
the month of November. Anderson will be the performer for the state
of Nebraska.
Anderson’s concert will also be carried live
on Dana’s radio station, KDCV 91.1, and on the station’s
live webcast feed at www.huntel.net/kdcv. The webcast is a world-wide
premiere event, exclusively carried by Dana College.
