The king and queen will be crowned at the WinterFest Formal Friday, Feb. 9 at Central Court in Blair. The dance will run from 9 p.m.-11:30 p.m. with coronation taking place at 10 p.m.


Hear the nationally-known Maia String Quartet Wednesday, February 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity Chapel in the Durham Center. Admission to the concert is free.

Before the concert, enjoy a fabulous dinner buffet featuring prime rib and chicken cordon bleu with hors d'oeuvres and free champagne in The Forum for only $15 per person. Dinner reservations are required and may be made before Feb. 7 by calling 426-7385.

The concert is sponsored by The Danish Immigrant Museum and Dana College. Funding is provided in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Chamber Music America Endowment Fund and Dennis Andersen of Atlanta, Ga.

The Bloodmobile is returning to Dana on Tues., Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Gardner-Hawks Center.

Dr. Iain Anderson and Dr. Stewart Brewer, Department of History, attended the American Historical Association annual conference in Atlanta, January 4-7. Both professors attended panels, networked with colleagues and publishers, and caught up on the latest scholarship in the vast book exhibit.
