In observation of Sexual Assault Awareness month, Blair’s Crisis Center is presenting a Clothesline Display in the Campus Center this week. The Clothesline Project is a national grassroots movement that allows survivors of violent crimes against women, as well as their friends and family, to decorate t-shirts as part of their healing process. The visual display is a way of raising awareness and support against crimes of violence aimed at women. It commemorates the victims and survivors of these crimes, and is a tribute to the courage it took for these women to share their stories. Its purpose is to encourage healing and awareness and to let women know they are not alone. The display is a powerful message of survival and remembrance.

Dr. Paul Schneider, Chair of English and Director of Theater, is featured as Mr. Anthony Kirby—stuffy Wall Street Banker—in the current production of You Can’t Take It With You at the Omaha Community Playhouse. The show runs Wednesday through Sunday this week and next week, with two performances on Sunday. Student tickets are available, and half price seats can be purchased for shows that are not sold out ten minutes before curtain.

If you get the opportunity to go, you will love this wise and hilarious comedy.
