On Friday, the newly established chapter of Sigma Beta Delta honor society for business, administration, and management will induct its first members.

Honorees are seniors Clint Christensen and Julie Pinkelman and juniors Trevor Ketelson, Heather Morrow, Emily Schaaf, and Clayton Timm. David Miller of the Business faculty will be an honorary inductee.

Chapter officers are Carol King, president, Susan Udey, vice president, and James Smith, chapter advisor.

Students must rank in the top 20% of their class, have complete at least half of the requirements for their major, and be invited to membership by the chapter officers.

The ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. in The Forum.


The following students will become members of Alpha Mu Gamma , the National Honor Foreign language society on May 11, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. in the Gartner Lecture Hall

To be accepted into the society, the student has to have a 3.65 g.p.a., and a 4.0 for two consecutive semesters in the target language.

Family, friends, faculty and staff are welcome to the ceremony. Refreshments will be served.


MUSIC AND MORE ! participated in worship Saturday and Sunday at First Lutheran, Blair. They presented flute, chime, and piano music and a children's sermon. Kendra Johnson, Marcos Martinez, Emily Frisbie, Carla Clark, Chris Lunbeck, Jennifer Oerman and Brooke Fencl represented the group this weekend. This semester MUSIC AND MORE ! has provided entertainment and inspiration for campus activities and civic organizations in Blair and has traveled to churches in Nebraska and Iowa for worship and youth ministry opportunities.


John Christensen, a 1971 graduate of Dana College, has been named Chancellor at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Christensen was named to the interim chancellor post in September after the resignation of Nancy Belck. He will be named Dana's Distinguished Alumnus at Homecoming this fall.

The annual Farewell Coffee will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday in The Forum. Join us to honor our colleagues who will be leaving Dana and our four new professor emeriti.


The GPAC Track and Field Championships have been postponed to Friday, May 11, at 2 p.m.

The meet will remain at Bulldog Stadium in Seward, Nebraska, with Concordia University as the host
