Ghosts and goblins and Dana College students were out in force on Halloween night. The ghosts were looking for candy. The students were seeking canned goods for the needy.

Several members of Dana's Christ in Action organization donned their Halloween costumes to collect 391 cans of food for the Washington County Food Pantry.

Emily Schaaf, Megan Reppert, Lindsay Payne, Natalie Hearn, and Jennifer Hubert also took part.


MUSIC AND MORE ! assisted with worship and Sunday School at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Blair on Sunday, November 5. Erin Sanders sang two solos and presented a talk about the Spring Break Katrina Relief Trip. Jennifer Oerman played a trombone solo and trombone duets with Jessica Deardoff. Jenn and Jess attended the 'Godly Play' Sunday School class.


Prof. David Hoppe has been elected to serve a two-year term as the president of the Nebraska Council on Compulsive Gambling.


The Dana College Office of Institutional Advancement is currently seeking a Gift Acknowledgement and Donor Research Coordinator. This newly restructured position is responsible for reporting and acknowledging gifts in accord with established procedures, maintaining appropriate donor files (database entry and paper), and for other duties as required.
