Students
receive top incoming student award
Dana College has announced the
winners of the Presidential Scholarship Competition, held Feb.
20 on the college’s campus in Blair, Neb.
The Presidential Scholarship
program is designed to recognize the academic achievements of outstanding
incoming students. A handful
of students
were selected to compete for scholarships competition, which includes
personal interviews with Dana faculty.
The Presidential Scholarship
awards up to $5,000 based on the results of the competition. To
enter the competition, high school students
must have a composite ACT score of 26 (or SAT of 1170) and a
minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4-point scale. Transfers
must have
a 3.5 minimum college grade point average.
