Dr. Raymond Russin has been named vice president for academic
affairs and dean of the college at Dana College. He began work
at Dana in March.
Russin most recently was special associate to the president
for institutional effectiveness at Kansas Wesleyan University
in Salina, Kan. He also served for five years as vice president
for academic affairs and academic dean at Kansas Wesleyan.
For 18 years prior, Russin was professor of psychology at Bethany
College in Lindsborg, Kan., a sister institution of Dana.

We are pleased to have Dr. Russin join the Dana College community,” said
Dr. Janet Philipp, president of Dana College. “His teaching
and administrative experiences at colleges similar to Dana
will be helpful as he guides the academic life of the College.”
Russin earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees
in psychology from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
His doctorate in general experimental psychology is from Colorado
State University.

confirmed my earlier impressions of the quality of Dana College.”
