College television station broadcasts on Huntel Cablevision Channel 97

After a hiatus, Dana College is proud to announce that it will resume its television programming on Huntel Cablevision Channel 97.

DVTV — the college’s station — will be back on from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sundays. From 9 a.m. until noon, the station will broadcast an audio feed from KDCV, Dana’s radio station, and display Dana events information on screen. At noon, the Blair First Lutheran Church service will be broadcast. The First Lutheran service is in its 11th year of broadcast on Huntel Cablevision.

“ This is a small way that we can be of service to the Blair community by providing programs they would otherwise not see,” said Dr. Myrvin Christopherson, Dana College president. “It also enables us to provide programming in keeping with our mission as a college of the church where faith and learning are prized together.”

The following is the Sunday morning program lineup:

  • 9 a.m. “Grace Matters” — Evengelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)
  • 9:30 a.m. “Christian Crusaders” — Dr. Homer Larsen
  • 10 a.m. “Joyful Praise” — Blair Trinity Lutheran Church, John Emslie, pastor
  • 10:30 a.m. “KDCV Music”
  • Noon “Blair First Lutheran Church Service”
  • 1 p.m. Arts Channel.
