7-on-7 and Lineman camps let players learn from the best

The Dana College Athletic Department will offer two day camps for high school football players this summer at the college’s campus in Blair, Neb.

The Viking 7-on-7 Competition Camp will be held June 26. This day-long camp mainly allows teams to get some playing time in with opponents in their class size. The fee is $175 for each seven-man team with $25 for each additional player. All participants receive a t-shirt and dinner, and awards will be given. Registration and payment deadline is June 1.

The Viking Lineman Camp offers players the opportunity to work with Dana’s coaches along with some of the area’s best high school coaches on June 28 and 29. The two-day camp is loaded with skills practices guaranteed to yield results in the fall season. The participation fee is $80 per player and includes two t-shirts and two dinners. This is not an overnight camp. Registration and payment deadline is June 1.

“ Players of all skill levels will be taught fundamental techniques and keys vital to helping them succeed throughout all levels of football,” said Marty Costello, camp director and Viking assistant coach. “This camp will help prepare you to play your very best during the upcoming season. Numerous college and high school coaches specializing in teaching offensive and defensive lineman will be present to coach you.”
