Bloomingdale Named Dana College Staff Member of the Year

Matt Bloomingdale, residence life coordinator, recently was chosen by the student body of Dana College as the 2005–06 Staff Member of the Year.

“ You will always see a smile on Matt’s face,” said senior Tyler Mohr, who presented the award. “He is always helpful, and whenever there is something wrong, he faces it head-on and comes up with a solution.”

Bloomingdale graduated from Dana in 2005 with a degree in organizational communication and a minor in English. As a student, he participated in cross-country and track and was a resident assistant, student hall director and president of the Student Senate. This past year, he has served as chair of the Staff Council.

Dana’s Staff Member of the Year is chosen by a vote of the entire student body.
