DANA HIRES JOHAN WINDMULLER AS ADMISSIONS
COUNSELOR
Former law enforcement officer
and
Dana graduate joins successful staff
Dana College announces that Johan
Windmuller has been hired as a new admissions counselor.
He is responsible for recruiting prospective students
in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin by presenting at high schools,
attending college fairs and meeting with students and parents as
they visit campus. He joins a successful admissions staff, who have
brought in one of the largest classes in recent history for the
2003-04 academic year.
Windmuller is a 1997 graduate of Dana, where he earned
degrees in International Communication and German. While a student
at Dana, Windmuller played football and wrote for the campus newspaper.
He was also a member of German Club and Alpha Mu Gamma.
Prior to working at Dana, Windmuller was in law enforcement in eastern
Nebraska. He and his wife, Brenda, live in Blair.
Windmuller grew up in Denmark. He graduated from Griswold
High School in Griswold, Iowa.
Dana College is a private, liberal arts institution
that currently enrolls approximately 600 students. The campus is
located on 150 acres overlooking the Missouri River Valley in Blair,
Neb. Dana grants bachelor’s degrees in more than 35 liberal
arts, business, education and pre-professional programs, with an
emphasis on personalized teaching from experienced and dedicated
faculty. Dana is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America, and its athletic teams compete in the Great Plains Athletic
Conference.
