The Beatles will invade Blair when the Dana College Chorale performs
a new arrangement of the group’s hit song “P.S. I Love
You” as part of the Chorale’s first concert of the 2006-07
school year. The concert, which is free and open to the public, is
scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 8, in Trinity Chapel on the
Dana College campus.
In addition to the Beatles song, the Chorale will perform its own
version of the hymn “Beautiful Savior” as well as a new
work, “Jubilate Deo,” composed by Chorale Director
Dr. Richard Palmer.
The concert will also feature several members peforming solos and
duets of classical, musical theater and popular-style selections.
Among those performing solos will be junior Kirk Schjodt of Blair
who will represent Dana at the Collegiate Recital of the Nebraska
Music Educator’s Fall in Convention in Lincoln this November.
