DANA TO HOLD RIVER CITY FOOTBALL CAMPS

Summer camps will improve young players' skills

Dana College will host two football camps in June for middle and high school players wishing to improve their fundamental skills.

On June 6 and 7, Dana football will conduct a offensive lineman/defensive lineman camp for students in ninth through 12th grades. This helmet and shoulder pads camp will emphasize basic lineman skills. The fee is $70 per player, with a discount available for groups of more than 10 players.

On June 8, a position skills camp will be held for quarterbacks, runningbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, linebackers and defensive backs in sixth through 12th grades. This non-padded camp will provide one-on-one attention to improve individual players’ fundamental skills. The fee for this camp is $35, with a discount available for groups of more than 10 players.
