for all settings of the Smorgasbord
Tickets
are still available for the famous Scandinavian Smorgasbord held
at Dana
College’s Sights & Sounds of Christmas this weekend, Dec. 4 and 5.
The
famous Scandinavian Smorgasbord ($15.50 for adults, $7 for children under 12)
is offered at eight settings. The cuisine includes authentic Scandinavian
cuisine, including frikadeller (meat balls), medisterpølse (sausage) and
salmon, as well as 22 additional items carefully selected and prepared in consultation
with chefs trained in Scandinavian cuisine.
Reservations can be made by visiting
the event’s web site, www.dana.edu/sightsandsounds,
or by calling the Dana College Relations Office, (402) 426-7216. Tickets are
also available at the door during the festival. Times for the Smorgasbord are
5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, and 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:30
p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5.
More than 25 other events, including concerts,
plays, exhibits, crafts and more,
can also be found at Sights & Sounds. The purchase of a $5 Sights & Sounds
button gets an individual into all these fun and family-friendly events.
