RESIDENCE HALL END OF YEAR CLOSING - 2007-08

NO STORAGE WILL BE PROVIDED, STUDENTS MUST TAKE EVERYTHING WITH THEM OR DISPOSE OF THE ITEMS IN A DUMPSTER PROVIDED

Students must vacate their rooms within 24 hours of their last examination. Graduating seniors and others approved to participate in commencement may stay until 2:00 p.m. of graduation Saturday. Students still in the residence halls after their respective checkout time will be assessed $25 for each day they are in residence.

Friday, May 16, 2008 - Food Service ends after dinner is served
Saturday, May 17, 2008 - Residence Halls close at 9:00am (graduates 2:00pm)

Check-out Procedures
1. Residents must check out with an RA. Schedules of who will be available will be posted. Failure to check out with an RA will result in a $50.00 fine for improper check-out.

2. The room must be empty of the personal belongings of the person checking out. All garbage should be taken to the provided dumpsters.

3. All original furniture must be in the room, window screens must be attached.

4. The room must be clean. (Floor swept, furniture wiped down, marks removed from floor and walls) Charges will be assessed for unclean rooms. If your room is left dirty or out of order, you will be charged a minimum fee of $50.00 for cleaning.

5. Residents will be billed for any room damage that was not noted on the Room Condition Report at check-in. Roommates should discuss room damage and which one will be billed for damages and this information passed on to the RA.

6. Trash and any discarded belongings should be disposed of properly. Students will be billed a minimum of $25.00 for trash or other items left in rooms or public areas. Do not place trash in the hallway. Please use the dumpsters that will be provided by the college to throw away any discarded items.

7. Any resident in the hall past the time of closing will be charged $50.00 for late check out, unless previous arrangements have been made with the Director of Residence Life
