TRINITY CHAPEL TO GET STAINED GLASS
Board of Regents spouses help raise funds
for windows
Trinity Chapel will be more colorful thanks to the spouses of the
Dana Board of Regents.
Stained glass windows depicting a Trinity theme will be installed
in the upper, circular portion of the center window and two side
windows in the chapel. The spouses have undertaken several projects
to help pay for these new beautifications.
Two Omaha-area artists, Jeff Schmitz and Jesse Keenan, have combined
efforts to design and install the windows. The center window representing
creation will be the first installed early in 2003.
“Some donations have already been received and others are
welcome,” said Anne Christopherson, Dana special projects
director. “I am most grateful that the spouses of Dana Regents
have stepped forward to help with the fund-raising.”
The spouses will be selling collectors’ plates that have
been provided by an anonymous donor and a collection of donated
North American modern fine art prints to help raise funds. More
information on the sales will be available early in 2003 on Dana’s
web site, www.dana.edu,
including information and images of specific prints for sale.
