Former Senator Paul Simon ’49 took time out from enjoying all the Homecoming festivities to sign autographs and copies of his new books for all Dana brothers and sisters.
All hail the King and Queen! Seniors Kio Coffie and Brooke Rohner were elected the 2003 Homecoming King and Queen. Kio is a business administration major from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Brooke is an elementary education student from York, Neb.

These students are completely under the power of hypnotist Frederick Winters, a special Homecoming visitor.
Nothing could stop the Vikings on the field against Dakota Wesleyan. The hometown favorites came back from a 12-14 deficit to steal the game away, 25-14. The “Dana Fury” defense held the conference’s second-best rusher to a ho-hum day.
The past battles the future as Hall of Fame inductee Heidi Grappendorf ’95 takes on current women’s basketball player Kori Lamoya ’05 in the alumni game.
Old and new voices joined together during the Traditional Choir Reunion in Trinity Chapel. The group of more than 100 singers was led by Dr. Richard Palmer, current director of the Dana College Chorale, and past director Dr. Paul Neve.
