Like all things of great value, a Dana education is indescribable, unquantifiable and somewhat unknowable. However, if you examine a small piece, you can start to get an impression of the greater whole. So it is with January Interim, a small semester that epitomizes a Dana education. The Interim was about knowledge for knowledge’s sake. Students saw the world or studied a topic far removed from their major studies. In a short period of time, they gained the experiences that affected them forever.

In honor of the countless lifechanging moments found by Dana students during the Interim semester, Dana has chosen to rename our signature offering Discovery Term.
