Professor Sybille Bartels, professor of German, associate dean
for student success and director of international studies and the
English Language Institute, was elected vice president of the Nebraska
chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German in April.
Michelle Young ’04 gave her Morton Scholar presentation on
May 3 at Dana, titled, “Enron: Various Transactions and Lessons
Learned.”
Erin Field ’04 gave her Morton Scholar presentation on May
3 at Dana, titled, “LEADERS: Laboratory Experiments and Demonstrations:
Efficient, Relevant, Safe.”
Richard and Jan Potter, professors of social work, along with Robin
Russel of SUNY Binghamton, presented the 2004 Annual Conference
for the South Dakota Chapter of the National Association of Social
Workers on April 5-6. The title of the conference was "Spirituality
in Mental Health Practice."
