Honors
The Dana Viking Football team will honor its alumni
during halftime of the Dana vs. Morningside game (kickoff at 1 p.m.,
Sept. 18). Each football alumnus in the audience will be invited
onto the field and recognized for his efforts while a member of
the Viking squad.
The alumni will also have the oppurtunity to play
a round of golf preceding the game at RiverWilds Golf Club, north
of Blair on Highway 75. After the game the attending alumni and
the current Viking coaches will gather for an evening meal and social
gathering at Jake’s Bar and Grill in the No Frills Plaza in
Blair.
“We in our program are enthusiastic about having
our past football players return to campus to enjoy a Viking game
and meet the coaching staff of the football team,” said Pat
Morris ’99, assistant football coach.
