GRADUATION
Morton Scholars
Three members of the Class of 2004 completed the rigorous
coursework, projects and service activities required to earn the
designation Morton Scholar at graduation. This year’s Morton
Scholars were, from left, Michelle Young, Erin Field and Mara Bartlett.
The designation demands hundreds of hours of extra
work and is named after Dr. Richard E. Morton, president of Dana
College and Trinity Seminary from 1944–56. These graduates
made a large contribution to the academic and service atmosphere
of Dana. The goal of the Morton Scholars program is to prepare students
to be leaders in the world outside Dana, as well.
Congratulations to the 2004 Morton Scholars!
