MASLO to become a viking

Blair, Nebraska ~ The Dana College Softball team announced the signing of Kelsie Maslo of Omaha, Nebraska. Maslo is a senior outfielder at Omaha Central High School.

“Kelsie is an outfielder with great speed and game sense,” commented Head Coach Marcy Roff.  “She has batted from both sides of the plate and we are excited to see what she can do offensively.”

Maslo joins teammate Ashley Rose as a member of the Vikings 2007 recruiting class.

The Vikings are currently 30-15 on the season and 17-3 in conference play.  Last season, the Vikings finished 43-10 overall and 20-2 in the GPAC.  Dana won the regular and past season titles.  Coach Roff and the Vikings advanced to the regional tournament before bowing out to Valley City State.  Roff is entering her fourth season at the helm of the Viking ship.
