Dokmonovich to become a Viking
Blair, Nebraska ~ The Dana
College Softball team announced Thursday the signing of Shaelyn
Dokmonovich of Omaha, Nebraska. Dokmonovich
is a senior utility player at Omaha North High School.
“
Shaelyn is a very well-rounded softball player as she has
played all 9 positions on the field during her career,” commented
Head Softball Coach Marcy Roff. “The coaching
staff is excited to have Shaelyn in the fall because she
is a fun player
to be around and can be a huge asset in all aspects of the
softball program!”
Coach Roff
expects Dokmonoich to play as a middle infielder or outfielder
next season. “We know that we can put
her wherever we need to and she will already have the knowledge
and ball sense to play that position,” added Roff.
