Kryszak to become a Viking

The Dana College Softball team announced the signing of Lenae Kryszak of Omaha, Nebraska.  Kryszak is a senior catcher and infield player at Millard South High School.

" We are very excited to add a player of Lenae’s ability to our 2007 recruiting class," said Head Coach Marcy Roff.  "She has been a member of Millard South’s team during her high school career, which has been a powerhouse softball program for quite sometime."

Coach Roff was excited about the speed and knowledge on the basepath's that Kryszak will bring to the program.  The coaching staff complimented her on her team first attitude, which fits into the programs philosophy.

"This fall, she spent her time behind the plate and had a great offensive year," added Roff.  "We feel that Lenae will compete for time as catcher and as an infielder."

Last season, the Vikings finished 43-10 overall and 20-2 in the GPAC.  Dana won the regular and past season titles.  Coach Roff advanced to the regional tournament before bowing out to Valley City State.  Roff is entering her fourth season at the helm of the Viking ship.
