The Dana College Softball team announced the signing of Erica Miller of Wahoo, Nebraska.  Miller is a senior pitcher and utility player at Wahoo High School.

“ Erica Miller has been an key part of the success at Wahoo High School,” said Head Softball Coach Marcy Roff.  “She has pitched and played first base, as well as some outfield.  Erica has a very strong bat and we feel she can become a great player for the Vikings.”

Coach Roff expects Miller to compete for playing time at several positions next season.  The coaching staff is enthusiastic about the leadership that Miller will bring to Dana College next season.

The Dana coaching staff is looking forward to working with Erica in the fall and helping her reach her potential,” added Coach Roff. “Erica has a bright future at Dana College!”

Last season, the Vikings finished 43-10 overall and 20-2 in the GPAC.  Dana won the regular and past season titles.  Coach Roff advanced to the regional tournament before bowing out to Valley City State.  Roff is entering her fourth season at the helm of the Viking ship.
