Miller to become a Viking
The Dana College
Softball team announced the signing of Erica Miller
of Wahoo, Nebraska. Miller
is a senior pitcher and utility player at Wahoo High School.
“
Erica Miller has been an key part of the success at Wahoo
High School,” said Head Softball Coach Marcy Roff. “She
has pitched and played first base, as well as some outfield. Erica
has a very strong bat and we feel she can become a great
player for the Vikings.”
Coach Roff expects Miller
to compete for playing time at several positions next season. The
coaching staff is enthusiastic about the leadership that
Miller will bring
to Dana College next
season.

The Dana coaching staff is looking forward to working with Erica
in the fall and helping her reach her potential,” added Coach
Roff. “Erica has a bright future at Dana College!”
Last season, the Vikings finished
43-10 overall and 20-2 in the GPAC. Dana
won the regular and past season titles. Coach Roff advanced
to the regional tournament before bowing out to Valley City State. Roff
is entering her fourth season at the helm of the Viking ship.
