Head Coach Marcy Roff

Head Coach Marcy Roff began coaching at Dana College in 2003-04.

Roff came to Dana from Knoxville, Iowa, where she was a seventh grade science teacher and an assistant softball coach at Central College. She served as pitching coach for Central's 2003 NCAA Division III championship team.

Roff recently completed a master's degree from Drake University.  She earned a bachelor's degree in environmental science and secondary education in 1998 from Simpson College where she was a standout pitcher for the Storm. Roff was named Second Team All-Conference and All-Region during her collegiate career and was also a member of the 1997 NCAA Division III championship team.

Roff and her husband, Tom, are the parents of a son, Nolan. Tom serves as assistant coach of the Vikings.

Assistant Coach
Sarah Graham

Sarah Graham joined the Dana College coaching staff in the fall of 2004 as a volunteer. A former Dana College student and Viking softball athlete, Graham made the second team All-NIAC in 1998 as the Vikings’ catcher. In 1999 she received First Team All-NIAC, First Team All-American, and Honorable Mention All-Nebraska Small College honors as the team’s designated player.  Dana’s 1999 softball team won the conference tournament and advanced to Regionals, something that has not happened at Dana since.

Graham is actively involved in the area’s softball scene.  She coaches several teams including teams in the Omaha Quakes fast pitch softball organization and the Omaha North High school team.

Graham works as an ESL Paraprofessional for Omaha Benson School.

" I joined the Dana coaching staff because I believe wholeheartedly in the philosophies of Marcy, Tom and Karen.  I saw the turnaround they made and they made me believe in Dana softball again.  This was an opportunity to grow as a coach and learn from one of the best coaching staffs in the country.  I also love the game of softball and was grateful to be able to give back to the program that gave me so much as a player," Graham said.
