Coach Roff’s Corner

"We finally put 3 aspects of our game together,” commented Coach Marcy Roff.  “We played great defense, got great pitching, and hit the ball a ton!  It's nice to see the Dana team we know we are capable of being.  We are hoping that our performance at Sioux Falls can carry over into our games this week because this is a key week for the conference.  We need to step it up in order to be playing in the postseason."

The Vikings improved to 14-13 on the season and 9-7 in conference play.  Dana will be very busy this week as they play five double headers.  The Vikings are at home Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week with each game set to start at 5:00pm.  The College of St. Mary visits Zimmerman Field on Tuesday.  Nebraska Wesleyan makes its lone appearance in Blair on Wednesday.  Dana will play host to Dordt College on Friday night.  Friday will also be senior night for the Vikings.  Dana will be on the road at Northwestern on Saturday and Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday.
