Career Services helps students and alumni with career exploration, selection, and job search. Students are encouraged to stop in, browse, and ask for a tour or individual assistance. There are two computers and a printer for career related student use. The Career Services staff’s purpose is to help each student find satisfying work. The following resources are available:

Career Exploration and Selection:
Interest, skill, personality, and values inventories
Individual career counseling (always confidential)
Occupational information
Informational interview contacts through the Dana Mentors
Internet resources
Print resources (available for two-week checkout)

Job Search:
Resume and application letter preparation assistance
Individual resume critiques
Interviewing tips and practice interviews
Employer research
Individual assistance with any facet of the job search process
Workshops and panel presentations
Career fairs
On-campus interviewing
Resume referral
Teacher placement assistance and credential file maintenance
Networking contacts through the Dana Mentors
Free Handouts available in print and on career services’ website
