The use of all tobacco products, including those defined as "smokeless", is prohibited in all campus buildings. Entrances and the immediate space around the entrances of buildings (including areas underneath overhangs) are considered to be a part of each campus building. Those choosing to smoke or use tobacco products at the entrances to buildings are subject to violations of this policy. Use of tobacco products in all common areas (lobbies, hallways, bathrooms) of the residence halls is strictly prohibited. Use of tobacco products of any kind in any other areas within college buildings (including residence halls) is expressly prohibited. Violators may be subject to disciplinary action, which may include monetary fines.
