Gerold to Participate in Two Sports at Dana
College
BLAIR, NE –
James Gerold, a senior from Hastings High School, has signed a
national letter of intent at Dana College. Gerold will
participate in both cross country and track at Dana College.
James is expected to bolster the distance corps during the track
season and add depth to a strong cross country team. He was a
two-time cross country state qualifier and qualified once in
track
James is the son of Kathleen
and Thomas McCoy. He is planning to major in Business
Administration and Information Systems at Dana College.
“The team and coach at Dana
care about their athletes,” commented Gerold on his choice of
Dana College. “I like running with a smaller team and focusing
on a good relay team.”
“James is very athletic and
has the chance to do great things at Dana College,” commented
Head Cross Country Coach Marc Bierbaum.
Dana College is a private,
Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska. The Vikings are
members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference and the NAIA.
Dana College is a place where all students actively participate.
