EADS SIGNS WITH dana college

 

Blair, Nebraska ~ The Dana College Cross Country and Track teams announced the signing of David Eads of Bellevue, Nebraska to a national letter of intent.  Eads ran cross country and track at Bellevue West High School.  He is the son of William Eads and plans to major in Biology and Chemistry while at Dana College.

 

“David has a great background that will help him become successful in the GPAC,” commented Head Cross Country Coach Marc Bierbaum.  “He is a dedicated hard worker who will make an impact on both teams in the fall and spring.  He is a very talented jumper and distance runner.”

 

He is a three time state qualifier in track.  He has qualified in the state meet in the high jump and the 4x800 meter relay.  He is currently rated the top high jumper in Class A this spring.

 

Eads’s resume in the classroom is equally impressive as on the track.  He was a member of the Metropolitan Conference All Academic Track and Field team.

 

Marc Bierbaum is in his first year as the Head Coach of the Dana College Cross Country and Women’s Track program.

 

Dana College is a private, Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska.  The Vikings participate in the Great Plains Athletic Conference and are members of the NAIA.  Dana College is a place where all students actively participate.
