JONES SIGNS WITH dana college

Blair, Nebraska ~ The Dana College Cross Country and Track teams announced the signing of Nathan Jones of Manhattan, Kansas to a national letter of intent.  Jones ran cross country and track at Riley County High School.  He is the son of David and Linda Jones and plans to major in Business while at Dana College.

“Nathan has a great background that will help him become successful in the GPAC,” commented Head Cross Country Coach Marc Bierbaum.  “He is a good athlete and a solid runner who will make an impact on both teams in the fall and spring.  He is a very talented runner and I look forward to helping develop his running talents.”

Marc Bierbaum is in his first year as the Head Coach of the Dana College Cross Country and Women’s Track program.

Dana College is a private, Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska.  The Vikings participate in the Great Plains Athletic Conference and are members of the NAIA.  Dana College is a place where all students actively participate.
