Coach Friesen’s Corner
“Despite the wind, the meet was very successful. Both teams
combined to place fourth overall. The men’s team took first overall and
the women finished in sixth place.
“ There were some very impressive performances from the men side by Cory
Logsdon, Eric Bane and Andrew Palmblade all taking first in their
events. Most of the guys were performing at or above what they were last
year at the end of conference.
“On the women’s side, despite our small numbers, we scored 38 points. I
was very proud of them. They battled all day long. Our top finishers
were Laura Waller, Christine Bailey, Lindsey Fibranz, Samone Hendricks,
and the women’s 4x400 meter relay.
