REHBERG SIGNS WITH dana college

Blair, Nebraska ~ The Dana College Cross Country and Track teams announced the signing of Rebecca Rehberg of Livonia, Michigan to a national letter of intent.  Rehberg ran cross country at Schoolcraft Community College.  She is the daughter of John and Kathy and plans to major in Nursing while at Dana College.

Rebecca is a transfer from Schoolcraft Community College in Michigan where she was their number one runner this past fall in cross country,” commented Head Cross Country Coach marc Bierbaum.  “She ran in the National Junior College Cross Country meet this past fall.  Although Schoolcraft did not participate in track Rebecca has an excellent middle distance background from high school.  I am very excited to have someone that has such a great range join the team.  Rebecca will be asked to help lead the lady Vikings on the cross country course and on the track.”

Marc Bierbaum is in his first year as the Head Coach of the Dana College Cross Country and Women’s Track program.

Dana College is a private, Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska.  The Vikings participate in the Great Plains Athletic Conference and are members of the NAIA.  Dana College is a place where all students actively participate.
