Tigers Defeat Vikings

Crete, NE—The Dana Vikings lost in three straight sets to the #18 ranked Doane Tigers in Volleyball on Wednesday 30-26, 30-10, 30-15.  The loss drops the Vikings record to 5-16 (1-8 GPAC).  Doane is 21-5 (8-2 GPAC.

Kourtnie Nisius (FR, Newton, IA) had 19 digs for the Vikings.  Shanan Arnold (SR, Leavenworth, KS) had 13 digs.  Lacie Greiner (FR, Boone, IA) led Dana with 8 kills.  Sarah Reddy (FR, Lincoln, NE) had 6 kills and 2 blocks.  Nicole Venditte (FR, Omaha, NE) registered 25 set assists.

The Vikings are back in action Friday and Saturday, October 13 and 14, at the University of St. Mary Tournament in Leavenworth, KS.  Game times are TBA.
