Dana Volleyball Loses to Chargers

Sioux City, IA—The Dana Vikings lost to Briar Cliff on Wednesday 30-18, 30-23, 30-23.  The loss dropped the Vikings record to 5-13 (1-4 GPAC).  Dana’s Darcy Gross (SR, Earling, IA) had 10 kills and 4 blocks.  Kali Brayfield (FR, Elkhorn, NE) had 5 kills and 3 blocks.  Setter Holly Lehmer (JR, Omaha, NE) had 17 assists and 9 digs.

The 16-4 (6-0 GPAC) Chargers were led by Alex Anstine and Micaela Borer who had 11 kills each.

Dana will try to end its five game losing streak at home on Friday night, October 6, at 7:30 PM against #17 Northwestern 20-1 (7-0 GPAC).  The Vikings also host Mt. Marty 6-14 (2-6 GPAC) at 3:00 PM on Saturday in another conference match.
