            The Viking volleyball team struggled on Thursday night in Storm Lake, Iowa, as they were swept by the host Buena Vista Beavers 30-17, 30-25, 30-21.  Dana committed 22 attacking errors in the loss. It was Dana’s third straight loss dropping their  record to 1-3.  The Beavers are now 5-1.

            Freshman Lacie Greiner (Boone, IA) had 20 digs for the Vikings.  Darcy Gross (Earling, IA) had 14 digs.  Kali Brayfield (Elkhorn, NE) had seven kills.  Junior Holly Lehmer (Omaha, NE) led Dana with 28 assists.

            Buena Vista’s offense was led by Ashley Wilde who had 14 kills and Molly Reuter  who recorded 35 assists.

            Dana’s next action will be on Saturday, September 9, in a double-header against Bethel College.  The first game will begin at 1:00 PM.
