Vikings Lose Two on Road

            The Dana Vikings volleyball team is now 6-21 (1-11 in GPAC) after losing on Friday at Morningside (16-14, 5-7 GPAC) and on Saturday at Dakota Wesleyan (9-20, 4-9 GPAC).

            Friday the Vikings lost 3-0 (30-21, 30-22, 30-25).  Darcy Gross (SR, Earling, IA) led Dana with 14 kills and 3 service aces.  Lacie Greiner (FR, Boone, IA) had 11 kills.  Shanan Arnold (SR, Leavenworth, KS) had 16 digs.

            Saturday, the Vikings came out strong defeating Dakota Wesleyan in the first set 30-26 before the next three sets 30-23, 30-26, 30-22.  Gross once again led Dana this time with 19 kills.  Kali Brayfield (FR, Elkhorn, NE) had 12 kills.  Arnold had 16 digs. 

            The Vikings are next in action versus Concordia (19-11, 8-5 GPAC) on Tuesday, October 24, in Seward at 7:30 PM.
