Cougars, Prairie Wolves Defeat Vikings

            The Viking volleyball lost two games over the weekend dropping their record to 6-24 (1-14 in the GPAC) on the season.  On Friday night Dana was defeated at home by the University of Sioux Falls 3-0.  The Cougars won 30-27, 30-25, 30-27.  Darcy Gross (SR, Earling, IA) led the Vikings with 10 kills.  Kali Brayfield (FR, Elkhorn, NE) and Lacie Greiner (FR, Boone, IA) also had 8 kills each.

            On Saturday, the Vikings lost at Nebraska Wesleyan 3-0 (30-22, 30-23, 30-20).  Gross had 9 kills and 3 ace serves.  Brayfield had 7 total blocks.  Junior Holly Lehmer (Lincoln, NE) had 31 assists.  Kira Presler (JR, Omaha, NE) had 12 digs. 

            The Vikings wrap up the regular season on Tuesday, October 31, at 7:30 PM against Midland Lutheran.  This final home game is Parent’s Night.
