Awards - She was a member of the 2007 All-City team, first team all-conference, and third team all-state. Higgins is a multi-sport letter winner. Higgins has qualified the past two seasons to throw at the Drake Relays held in Des Moines, Iowa. She is also a three time Council Bluffs Relays City champion in the shot and discus and has placed in the top ten at the Iowa State tournament in discus as a sophomore and junior.
