Camp Director
Rayna Cain, Dana Head Volleyball Coach
Rayna Cain began as head coach of the Vikings in 2006. Cain was a four-time All-Northern Sun Conference First Team selection as a 6-2 middle hitter at Wayne State College from 1999-2002. She ranks second on the Wildcats’ all-time list in blocks, third in kills and seventh in attacks. Cain helped the Wildcats win the NSIC regular season title in the 2001 season, going 16-2 in conference play and 24-9 overall. She is a graduate of Homer High School, where she was a three-time All Lewis and Clark Conference selection and a three-sport Academic All-State honoree.

Youth Camp
June 7, 21 (Grades 5-8)

This camp is designed to build and focus on the fundamentals of the game. Campers will have fun making new friends while advancing their volleyball skills. Need to bring sack lunches.

Each camper will get one-on-one training from the Vikings’ coaching staff. Athletes will be divided into groups according to skill level. Players will be challenged in every aspect of the game while having a fun and enjoyable experience.

Individual Camp Residents: If you will be staying in the dorms, you will need: Gym shoes, shorts, t-shirts, socks, swimsuits, towels, toilet articles, sheets, pillow, blanket, spending money for free time and snacks and drinks for between meals.

Individual Camp Commuters: You can still buy a lunch and dinner meal pass or you may make alternate arrangements.

Team Camp

Players and coaches will have the opportunity to improve their individual skills as well as team development.
Includes a camp t-shirt.

Viking Summer League
June 9, 16, 23, July 7, 14, 21

5:00pm - Start time
Space is limited. Pool play the first five nights and tournament play the final night.
