Rayna Cain
Head Coach

Rayna Cain began as head coach of the Vikings in 2006. Cain was a four-time All-Northern Sun Conference First Team selection as a 6-2 middle hitter at Wayne State College from 1999-2002. She ranks second on the Wildcats’ all-time list in blocks (388), third in kills (1,517) and seventh in attacks (3,471). Cain helped the Wildcats win the NSIC regular season title in the 2001 season, going 16-2 in conference play and 24-9 overall. She is a graduate of Homer High School, where she was a three-time All Lewis and Clark Conference selection and a three-sport Academic All-State honoree.

Cain has three years of high school coaching experience at Neligh-Oakdale, guiding the Warriors to the Class C-2 State Tournament in 2004 and 2005. Her record at Neligh-Oakdale was 51-19, including marks of 21-3 and 21-4 in the past two seasons.

Cain previously served as a graduate assistant in the exercise science department at Wayne State College. She earned her masters’ degree in wellness/exercise science from Wayne State.
